Harvest - New Openness of Youth

A Great Encouragement

We are seeing a new openness among young people. Some are seeking on their own initiative, asking questions about faith, life, and truth. This gives us real hope that the Lord is preparing a new season of fruit among the next generation.

At the same time, the youth already in our church need encouragement to bring their friends. We want to help them grow in confidence, live openly for Christ, and see their friendships as an opportunity for gospel witness.

A Growing Opportunity

In the next two to four years, around 120 children in our church will become teenagers. That means a large new wave of young people will soon need discipleship, fellowship, strong leadership, and clear biblical teaching.

We believe this is not just a challenge, but a major opportunity. The field is opening, and we expect the Lord to do great things in this coming season.

A Healthy Environment for Ministry

By God's grace, we can offer an encouraging environment for this work:

• a healthy church life
• many strong men and women serving faithfully
• a wide range of ministries that already bear fruit
• a church culture that values discipleship, mission, and spiritual maturity

This is not a ministry that would need to start from zero. There is already a strong foundation, and there is room for a youth ministry to grow and flourish.

What Is Already Happening

For around 20 years, many volunteers have faithfully carried significant ministry among children and youth. At the moment, these ministries include:

• a kids camp with about 100 participants
• a teens camp with about 80 participants
• Royal Rangers with about 120 children
• Regular youth groups

All of this has been operated by volunteers only. We are deeply thankful for their long-term faithfulness, sacrifice, and joyful service.

A Clear Need: Youth Pastor

As this new season opens, we see a clear need for a youth pastor, ideally a couple supported through missionary funding. We believe such a couple could help disciple young people, strengthen relationships, equip the youth to invite friends, and build on the strong work that already exists.

Prayer Requests

• Pray that the openness among young people would lead to genuine repentance and faith in Christ.
• Pray that the youth in our church would have courage to bring their friends.
• Pray for wisdom as we prepare for the next generation of teenagers.
• Pray that the Lord would provide the right youth pastor, ideally a missionary couple.
• Pray for much lasting fruit in this new season.

We are grateful and expectant. The Lord has sustained this ministry for many years, and we believe He is opening the door for even greater things ahead.
